Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using WaterProxy’s services. All users must comply with it. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

2. Prohibited activities

Illegal and fraudulent use

• Any activity that violates local, state, national, or international law
• Fraud, financial scams, money laundering, or terrorist financing
• Identity theft, impersonation, or use of stolen credentials
• Purchasing or facilitating the purchase of illegal goods or services
• Circumventing geo-restrictions in violation of applicable laws

Cyber attacks and security violations

• Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or network flooding
• Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data
• Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing without authorization
• Distributing malware, ransomware, trojans, or other malicious code
• Credential stuffing, brute force attacks, or account takeover attempts

Harmful content

• Distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Harassment, stalking, threats, or intimidation
• Promotion of violence, terrorism, or hate speech
• Defamation or violation of others’ privacy rights

Intellectual property violations

• Copyright infringement or piracy
• Scraping content in violation of website terms of service
• Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted materials

3. Fair use

Excessive usage that degrades service quality or harms a device may result in throttling or suspension. We reserve the right to define and enforce fair use limits at our discretion.

4. Monitoring and enforcement

WaterProxy may monitor usage patterns for compliance with this AUP. We do not actively inspect traffic content but may investigate reported abuse. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required by law.

5. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, report it through our contact form. All reports are treated confidentially.

6. Consequences of violation

• First offense: warning and/or temporary suspension
• Repeated or severe violations: immediate and permanent account termination
• Criminal activity: referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities
• Remaining account balance may be forfeited upon termination for AUP violations

WaterProxy is a proxy infrastructure provider. Users are solely responsible for their activities while using the Service. WaterProxy does not endorse, facilitate, or condone any illegal or unethical use of its services.
